This project was to produce a 3D model which was visually appealing and realistic. I went through multiple variations in model shape/size before settling with this one. Most early renders and designs were made in Maya, although for the final scene, the models were unwrapped and exported to Unreal Engine 4. Using textures from Quixel Megascans Library and a post-processing volume, the final version was complete. Looking forwards, it’d be nice to move away from pre-made textures in order to achieve this type of realism independently.
